Garage Band U will end its Spring semester with a live concert at Q Billiards in Darien on Sunday, May 22 at 1:00 p.m. The pre-teen and teen groups will perform, followed by the adult classes. The public is invited – there is no cover charge.
"The kids have worked hard this semester and they're really excited about getting up in front of an audience," said Musical Director James DiGirolamo.
Enrollment is now open for the Summer semesters, the first of which begins Monday, May 30. The first Summer semester will wrap up with a live performance on Sunday, July 10, 2011. Garage Band U classes are held at the Hinsdale Conservatory of Music, located inside the historic Zion Lutheran School building at 125 S. Vine St, Hinsdale IL 60521.
