Scooter Pond Hockey

Little Hawks Scooter Pond Hockey Teams are beginning hockey teams created from the students of Little Hawks classes. For ages 10 and older, these students are placed on a new Scooter team every week and emphasis is placed on skill development and fun rather than the score of the game.

The goal is to develop an understanding of team or game play, confidence in puck handling, shooting, passing, and checking skills at the team play level. Learning how to interact with other teammates and developing personalities is part of the learning curve of Scooter Pond Hockey. The basic rules of hockey are not yet taught at this level.
