Fall Colors Hike Hosted At Waterfall Glen
The Fall Colors Hike will be hosted at Waterfall Glen on Oct. 19.

DARIEN, IL — The Forest Preserve of DuPage County will host a Fall Colors Hike at the Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve in Darien. Guests will enjoy the displays of fall colors at the preserve from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 19.
According to the forest preserve, guests can learn about wildlife,the plants, history and forest preserve features on a guided hike. All ages are invited; but those under 18 need to be with an adult. The event is free and you can register online or at 630-933-7248.
According to its website, Waterfall Glen features 11 miles of trails and 2,492 acres. The preserve's prairies, savannas, and oak-maple woodlands contain 740 native plant species, 75 percent of all the plants known to grow naturally in DuPage County.
