Fiber Fest Hosted At Indian Prairie Public Library

DARIEN, IL — Indian Prairie Public Library will host Fiber Fest on the library lawn on Saturday, Aug. 19. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and guests will be able to see the beginning of the process and show items that provide fiber.

After that, according to the library's website, guests can see the ways that fiber is transformed: spinning, dyeing, knitting and more. There will also be workshops and demos to help guests learn about and celebrate the wonderful world of fiber.
