Good Samaritan Imposter Believed To Be Darien Suspect: Police

DARIEN, IL — A woman posing as a good Samaritan may have been the one responsible for theft at a resident's house last week. About 6 a.m. July 8, a resident in the 8900 block of Kilkenny Drive saw a woman acting strangely in the resident's yard. When confronted, the woman said she was returning items that had blown out of the victim's yard, according to a police report.

At 8 a.m., the victim saw pry marks on the door frame and discovered lawn ornaments had been removed from the front yard. The approximate loss is unknown at this time, police said.
