DARIEN, IL — A split Hinsdale High School District 86 board on Thursday approved a report that resulted from a complaint against employees. But officials have not publicly revealed the parties or the nature of the grievance.

Board President Terri Walker, Kathleen Hirsman, Cynthia Hanson and Erik Held approved the report, while Peggy James, Debbie Levinthal and Jeff Waters voted against it. The division was along the board's usual lines.

They made the decision after a closed session following their open meeting. The board's agenda indicated the district followed its uniform grievance procedure.
