Hinsdale Police Reports: Drug Possession, Hit and Run
Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through Jan. 6

Christopher D. Pitrowski, age 25 of 8425 Central, Burbank, was arrested Dec. 30 from the BP station on East Ogden Avenue and charged with possession of cannabis more than 30 grams and possession of drug equipment, according to Hinsdale police. Police went to the BP station to investigate a suspicious person, and they saw the man with a glass pipe and a green leafy substance that field tested positive for cannabis, according to Hinsdale police. Pitrowski was charged and released to appear in court.
Someone pulled a fire alarm Jan. 1 at Colonial Gardens Apartments on South Madison Street, according to Hinsdale police. Police helped the Hinsdale Fire Department investigate the alarm.

Someone left the scene of a car collision Dec. 22 before police arrived at County Line Road and Ogden Avenue, according to Hinsdale police. A driver told the victim he didn’t have his driver’s license with him and he gave the victim an insurance card for a different vehicle, according to Hinsdale police.
Someone threatened a nurse Jan. 3 at RML Specialty Hospital, according to Hinsdale police.

Someone hit a parked car on the street Jan. 3 in the 800 block of South Park and didn’t leave their information, according to Hinsdale police.
