Hinsdale Police Reports: Identity Theft, Drunken Driving
Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through March 10.

Someone used a victim’s identity Dec. 28, 2014, to open a charge card and cell phone accounts, according to Hinsdale police. The identity thief charged $1,000 on the fraudulent credit card.
Someone used a victim’s identity to obtain medical services July 10, 2014, according to Hinsdale police. The victim was alerted to the identity theft when he received a bill from a collection agency.

Someone opened a credit card Nov. 24 using a victim’s information, according to Hinsdale police.
Someone used a victim’s identity to file a tax return between Feb. 10 and 24, according to Hinsdale police. The victim received notice from the IRS and found that the suspect was a former inmate in the Missouri Department of Corrections, police reported.

Daniel J. Flavin, age 22 of the 1200 block of Birks Court, La Grange, was arrested March 9 and charged with drunken driving, DUI more than 0.08, driving the wrong way and improper lane use, according to Hinsdale police. Flavin was stopped in the 200 block of West Ogden Avenue for improper lane use and driving eastbound in a westbound lane. He was observed to be under the influence of alcohol, and testing showed he was over the legal limit, police reported. He was charged and released to appear in court.
Torrez D Watson, age 34 of the 200 block of 69th Street, Darien, was arrested March 9 on Route 83 and 55th Street, according to Hinsdale police. He was charged with drunken driving, DUI more than 0.08 and improper lane use. He was released to appear in court.
