Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through Nov. 11

A thief stole a package Oct. 22 from a front porch on the 200 block of Center Street, according to Hinsdale police. The package was valued at $30.

A vandal broke a passenger side mirror between Nov. 7 and 8 from a car parked in a driveway on the 100 block of N Monroe Street, according to Hinsdale police.

A 15-year-old male minor had a water bottle containing alcohol, and he was seen under the influence of alcohol on Nov. 6 at 1:40 p.m. at Hinsdale Central High School, according to Hinsdale police. The suspect was charged with unlawful possession of alcohol by person under 21, and he was released to a parent, according to police.

An identity thief used a victim’s information on Oct. 27 to open five checking accounts, according to Hinsdale police.

Ebony C Martin, 32 of 1733 Queensbury Circle, Hoffman Estates, was arrested Oct. 24 and charged with forgery, according to Hinsdale police. Police reported Martin tried to cash a forged check at the Bank of America on W First Street, and she was charged and released to appear in court.
