Hinsdale Police Reports: Theft, Burglary, DUI
Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through Dec. 23.

The information in the following reports is courtesy of the Hinsdale Police Department.
Two fur coats were stolen Dec. 16 from Hinsdale Furrier, according to Hinsdale police. The coats were valued at $15,290.
A burglar stole eight skateboards between Dec. 14 and Dec. 15 from a detached garage on the 700 block of S Stough, according to Hinsdale police. The skateboards were valued at $850, and there were no signs of forced entry.

A burglar stole jewelry between Dec. 16 and Dec. 18 from a home on the 600 block of W 4th Street, according to Hinsdale police. The homeowners were out of town, and the burglar broke in through a back door.
A thief stole a package Dec. 18 from a front porch on the 700 block of S Bodin Street, according to Hinsdale police. The package was valued at $90.

Hinsdale police arrested Laetitia L Lubenow, age 55 of 6 Robin Hood Ranch, Oak Brook, on Dec. 20 for driving under the influence. Police stopped Lubenow at Ogden Avenue and Monroe Street for a stop sign violation and making an improper turn. She appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, and she refused BAC testing, according to Hinsdale police. She was chared and released to appear in court.
