Hinsdale South Director Departing For Another School
She is leaving for a leadership position in a much larger school.

HINSDALE, IL – An official at Hinsdale South High School is leaving for another suburban school district.
Robin Vannoy, South's director of deans, was appointed to become the associate principal of student services at Barrington High School. Her first day is July 1.
Her salary is set at $146,000 in Barrington, up from $132,000 in District 86, according to public records.

In a statement to Patch on Thursday, Vannoy said, "I am grateful for the time that I have had in Hinsdale Township SD 86. I have learned and grown a lot. I am very excited for the next step in my professional career, but I will miss this wonderful community of people."
At a meeting last week, the Barrington School District 220 board appointed Vannoy.

In her new job, Vannoy will work at a school with a much larger enrollment – 2,800 vs. 1,300 at South.
At Barrington High, 20 percent of students come from low-income families. At South, it's 27 percent, according to the Illinois Report Card.
Vannoy holds a bachelor's degree in psychology with a Spanish minor from the University of Massachusetts, a master's degree in educational leadership from Argosy University, and a doctorate in school psychology from Loyola University.
