Holiday Soap Collection for Area Food Pantries

The Darien Woman's Club is once again collecting personal use and household soap products to supply area food pantries. Soap products are an extra that can make all the difference to a family trying hard to make ends meet. In the past the Club has the donated soap items to be delivered with the Darien Lions Holiday Food Baskets. This year, the soap items will be gathered from the collection locations and distributed to local Food Pantries in time for the Holidays. This will be easier for everyone and will allow pantry clientele the ability to choose what is needed.

Please consider donating regular sized hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, etc. The items can be dropped off in collection bins at the Indian Prairie Public Library, the Darien Park District, or Mark DeLay, Concord, & Cass Jr. High Schools during regular business hours. The collection begins Friday November 24th and the final collection day will be Wednesday December 20th.
