Holidays and Indian Prairie Public Library

Indian Prairie Public Library cardholders have a wealth of resources available to make their holidays brighter, including kits and databases to help make personalized gifts, tech help for new devices, access to the library’s extensive digital and physical collection of music, and movies.

Considering making big-ticket purchase? Access free buying advice, reviews, tips, and more with the Consumer Reports database.

Handmade gifts and decorations can be a special treat. Community members can get inspired with the library’s hobbyist resources, Creativebug and Hobbies & Crafts Reference Center or use the library’s equipment to make creations come to life.

The library has in-building equipment that users can submit their designs to, like the Carvey and 3D printer. Both machines were generously donated by the IPPL Foundation and Friends. Learn how to submit requests by using the links above.

There also is a plethora of equipment available for checkout. Browse Indian Prairie Library’s maker kit and Tech Takeout collection.

Stream and download holiday-themed content through eMediaLibrary and hoopla, enjoy a preloaded Roku device, or borrow from the shelves.
