Home Burglarized In Darien During The Day: Cops

DARIEN, IL — Darien Police are looking for offender(s) who burglarized a home in broad daylight on Oct. 30. The burglary occurred in the 1000 block of Park Crest Dr. between the hours of 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., police say.

The victim told police they had left home briefly on Oct. 30 and returned to find that their overhead garage door was open. Once inside, the resident found their home had been ransacked. The offender(s) removed multiple gift cards and a tablet device with a cover, according to police.

Police say the total estimated loss is $975.
