Hornet Swim Club Swimmers rock IL Open Water Championships

On June 29, 2017, three Hornet swimmers competed in the IL Open Water Championships in Pleasant Prairie, WI. with two reaching the podium in the 11-12 Girls 2k event. Olivia Roti timed in at 16:53.85 for 2nd place in the event, barely missing out on the top honor by just over three seconds. Lainey Devine finished in 7th place with a time of 18:36.24. Mary Ghawaly also competed, finishing in 22nd place at the event. Congrats to Olivia and Lainey on their top-10 finishes! #Feartheswarm!
