Hornet Swim Club swims to 2nd place at HWSA Winter Splash!

Over the weekend of January 6th to the 8th, the Hornet Swim Club took 2nd place in the team standings at the Hickory Willow Swim Association - Winter Splash. Individual honors for the Hornets included:

8 & Under Girls - 3rd Place: Mia Rogers

8 & Under Boys - 2nd Place: Luke Vatev

9-10 Boys - 1st Place: Henry Guo

9-10 Boys - 2nd Place: Ethan Rogers

9-10 Boys - 3rd Place: Cadel Stauffer

11-12 Boys - 2nd Place: Shea Stauffer

It should also be noted that the Hornets also had swimmers finish in 4th and 5th place in the 9-10 boys division, thereby sweeping the top 5 spots in that age group. Henry Guo, Ethan Rogers, and Cadel Stauffer also obtained new State Meet cuts for the upcoming Illinois Age Group Swim Championships. Congrats to all Hornet swimmers! #Feartheswarm
