Houses Egged, DUIs: Darien Police Reports

Darien Police reports through March 28.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

March 23

  • Antonio Jones, 18, of Willowbrook, was arrested at 8:44 a.m. at Cass and I-55 for driving while license suspended and speeding. Jones was processed and released with a court date of April 19 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
  • A briefcase was stolen from a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 600 block of 68th Street between 8 p.m. March 22 and 10:43 a.m. March 23. The owner can't remember if the car was locked.
  • Matthew Keseric, 19, of Naperville, was arrested at 7:51 p.m. at Walmart, 2189 75th St., for retail theft. Keseric was seen hiding items in his backpack and under his clothing before exiting the store without paying. A court date will be determined at the Downers Grove Field Court.

  • A house was egged in the 600 block of Oldfield Road around 8 p.m.
  • James Cunneen, 45, of Villa Park, was arrested at 9:13 p.m. in the 2100 block of 75th Street for two counts of DUI-alcohol, speeding and improper lane usage. Cunneen was processed and released with a court date of April 30 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.

March 25

  • Eldridge Johnson III, 40, of Chicago, was arrested at 3:47 a.m. in the 7500 block of Cass Avenue for DUI-alcohol. Johnson was processed and released with a court date of May 8 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.

March 26

  • A bottle of prescription drugs was stolen from a car parking in a driveway in the 7600 block of Brookhaven Road sometime between 10 p.m. March 25 and 9 a.m. March 26. The owner can't remember if the car was locked.
  • The outside of an apartment building was egged in the 1100 block of Chalet Drive at 8:15 p.m.
  • A driveway and home in the 7300 block of Brookbank Road was egged at 8:48 p.m.
