Ice Cream Social Hosted By Darien Historical Society

The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, on the grounds of the Old Lace Schoolhouse and Museum, 7422 Cass Ave.

DARIEN, IL — Celebrate history and enjoy some ice cream at the Darien Historical Society's Ice Cream Social. The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, on the grounds of the Old Lace Schoolhouse and Museum, 7422 Cass Ave.

According to the society's Facebook page, a donation of $3 will get you a dish of Culver's frozen custard, hot dogs, lemonade and cookies. The Indian Prairie Public Library will have a story time from 5:30 to 6 p.m., and there will be music from the Fermata D'Aria Barber Shop Quartet.

Attendees will also be able to step into the museum and view the collection.
