Indian Prairie Library Connects with Families

Family-friendly programming, take-home kits, and more.

Families can explore, connect, and be inspired with the many custom activities, programs, and materials for checkout at Indian Prairie Public Library.

Parents and caregivers with babies 0-18 months can schedule private, online Beginning with Baby sessions, and enjoy songs, rhymes, games, ask about milestones, development, library services, and get encouragement from Miss Heather. Email heatherfj@ippl.info to sign up for a 15-minute session.

Young children can enjoy the New Words flashcards, which help develop early reading skills in a unique and fun way. Children will find words in the envelope that they can match to items at home. Envelopes are available upstairs in the Kids and Teens department. To request one for pick up at the new drive-up window, email youthservices@ippl.info or call 630/887-0718.
