Indian Prairie Library Hosts Artist In Residence Through December
Lein-Svencner will be in the library lobby on Wednesdays, Oct. 10, 17, 24, 31, Nov. 7, 14, 28, and Dec. 5, 12 and 19.

DARIEN, IL — The Indian Prairie Public Library will host another artist in residence during October, November and December. Laura Lein-Svencner, a native of Downers Grove currently living in Darien, works in drawing, printmaking, sculpture/assemblage, papermaking and collage. According to the library, she co-founded the Midwest Collage Society and teaches collage workshops throughout the Midwest.
Lein-Svencner will be in the library lobby on Wednesdays, Oct. 10, 17, 24, 31, Nov. 7, 14, 28, and Dec. 5, 12 and 19 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Her work will also be displayed in the second floor art gallery during October.
