Indian Prairie Library Provides Free Access to Streaming Services

Patrons can borrow Roku devices and enjoy new movies and shows.

Indian Prairie Library cardholders have exclusive access to the library’s Tech Takeout collection, which includes Roku devices that are loaded with free access to subscription streaming services, such as Hulu Plus, Vudu, Apple TV+, Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO NOW, AcornTV. Two new devices were recently added to the collection, Hallmark Movies and Showtime.

There are many other items available in the Tech Takeout Collection.

Library cardholders can borrow technology such as laptops and projectors, gaming consoles, and digital conversion equipment for pictures and VHS tapes. See the entire collection and place a hold at www.ippl.info/technology/techtakeout.

Don’t have a card? Indian Prairie Library cards are available for free to residents and businesses that live in the district and pay library taxes. People who don't live in the district can still apply for a card. It only costs $211, and it’s good for the entire family for a year. Learn more at librarycard.ippl.info.
