It is difficult to have a conversation with anyone these days – that does not begin with some discussion about the weather. It is a “hot” (pun intended) topic these days. Each day we hear about a new record for low temperature or snow fall about to be or just broken. Another long range forecast of “much the same” – including this upcoming weekend.
IT HAS BEEN A LONG WINTER!!
Well it has also been a long winter for the seniors we know and love as well – I would argue it has been LONGER for them. Winter can be hard on your spirit – your morale and physically challenging as well and for our Seniors, even more so.

Early in the winter season – you may have been pretty good about checking on your senior family members, friends you know, the neighbor across the street. But winter has made you tired and perhaps a bit forgetful about this population…..I would encourage to “check in” in on them again. See how they are doing. Bring them a cup of coffee or a donut. Sit down and have a nice chat them them.
You will find it does a world of good for them AND for you!!!
