It’s Time to Register for Vacation Bible School!

St. John Lutheran Church at 7214 South Cass Avenue in Darien, IL will host its annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) on Monday, July 17 through Friday, July 21 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. It will offer classes for three-year-olds through grade six youth.

Children will make new friends and have lots of fun as they explore this year’s theme “Mighty Fortress.” They will learn that God is their refuge and strength. He promises to be their rock and salvation—their fortress and sure defense. In Jesus, the victory is won! Each day children will enjoy Bible stories, games, snacks, crafts, music, and puppet shows, and outdoor recreation. A free Family Fun Night featuring a hot dog supper and program by the children will be held as a culminating event on Thursday, July 20 at 6:00 p.m.

There is a materials fee of $20.00 per family regardless of the number of children for those registering on or before July 7. The fee is $25.00 for those registering after that date or at the door. Online registration begins May 15 at http://www.sjlcdarien.org/education/vacation-bible-school.html. Payment will be made when you check in on the first day.
