It’s Time to Register for Vacation Bible School!
Children, aged 3 through grade 6, will make new friends and have lots of fun at Splash Canyon.
St. John Lutheran Church at 7214 South Cass Avenue in Darien, IL will host its annual Vacation Bible School (VBS) on Monday, July 16 through Friday, July 20 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. It will offer classes for three-year-olds through youth in sixth grade.
Children will make new friends and have lots of fun as they explore this year’s theme Splash Canyon. Life is full of thrills and spills; we may not know what's around the bend, but God does! At Splash Canyon, kids discover that, on life's wild ride, Jesus is by our side. Each day children will enjoy Bible stories, games, snacks, crafts, music, and outdoor recreation. A free Family Fun Night featuring a hot dog supper and program by the children will be held as a culminating event.
The materials fee for VBS is $20.00 per family regardless of the number of children if you register online before July 6. If you register online after July 6 or at the door, the material fee is $25.00 per family. Online registration begins May 15 at https://www.sjlcdarien.org/events/vacation-bible-school.html.
