It takes many hands to keep a successful community garden growing – and with help, the library’s Prairie Patch is able to provide an outdoor learning space and grow food to feed the community. The Prairie Patch is a garden with 40 raised flower pots used to grow a variety of vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers. Contact Monica Dzierzbicki at monicad@ippl.info for more information or a volunteer application.
