Learn To Garden With Wildflowers At Indian Prairie Library

The program will be held on Monday, June 5 at the library.

DARIEN, IL — The Indian Prairie Public Library, in partnership with the Darien Garden Club, will host a program where gardeners can learn how to use native wildflowers in their gardens. According to a release, Jack Pizzo, an ecologist and environmentalist, will come to the library on Monday, June 5 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

According to the garden club, the program will show the rewards of using native wildflowers in your garden. The program will also show how to use wildflowers in rain and perennial gardens and how they can help to stabilize eroding shore lines.
