Preschoolers at St. John Lutheran Early Learning Center in Darien know that conference-goers will love Mrs. Lantero as they do.

Mrs. Dawn Lantero, a preschool teacher at St. John Lutheran Early Learning Center (ELC) in Darien, IL, will be a presenter at the 34th Annual Illinois Association for Supervision and Curriculum (ILASCD) Pre-K & Kindergarten Conference to be held on March 6-7 in Schaumburg, IL. Her session will be titled The Parent Connection. Mrs. Lantero will offer practical advice on how teachers can engage parents, conference with parents, problem solve with parents, and partner with parents for positive outcomes.

Mrs. Lantero is the author of S.P.L.A.S.H. Parenting Principles. She is also a parenting workshop facilitator, columnist, consultant, and blogger (www.splashparenting.com). She has been sharing new insights for 17 years by combining her experience as a teacher and knowledge as a mother of four to offer real life solutions to both teachers and parents who are looking for inspiration and support.

St. John Lutheran ELC is pleased to have Mrs. Lantero as one member of its dedicated staff whose education and experience make them particularly qualified to create a caring and stimulating learning environment tailored to the unique characteristics of preschoolers.
