'LOL' Trailer: First Look at Movie Featuring Darien Woman's Film Debut

Bridget Brown filmed a role in the soon-to-be-released movie starring Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore.

Miley Cyrus may be the star of LOL: Laughing Out Loud, the soon-to-be-released U.S. remake of a 2008 French film.

But there's another actress who will draw locals into theaters.

alum and lifelong Darien resident Bridget Brown makes her feature film debut in the coming-of-age movie, which also stars Demi Moore and Twilight's Ashley Greene.

In the film, Brown said she plays a member of a French family hosting American exchange students.

One of the male characters in the film undergoes a moral transformation after he initially treats Brown's character Lily, who has Down syndrome, disrespectfully.

“(Brown’s) part is a rainbow in the storm,” her mother Nancy told Patch.

Brown doesn't appear in the trailer, but it does show several recognizable Chicago locations such as the Chicago River and the Harold Washington Library El stop.
