Mailbox Damaged, Duffel Bag Stolen From Gym: Darien Blotter

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Driving While License Suspended

• Ashley Lewis, 25, Chicago, was arrested at 9:20 a.m. July 17 in the 7500 block of Lyman for driving while license suspended and speeding. Lewis was processed and released with a court date of Sept. 21 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.

Criminal Damage To Property

• A mailbox was damaged in the 8100 block of Sawyer Road at 12:08 a.m. July 18. The value of the damage is $70.

Burglary

• A duffel bag and wallet containing credit cards was stolen from a locker at XSport Gym, 7511 Lemont Road, sometime between 6 and 7:45 p.m. July 19. The cards were used at another business outside of Darien. Total loss is $912.52.
