Man Arrested In Fight Near Darien Intersection: Cops
In another incident, a man and a woman were charged in connection with a domestic disturbance, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Fight
- A 22-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of battery. Officers were called to a fight at 83rd Street and Lemont Road. The man was released and given a date to appear in court.

- A 52-year-old man who lives in the 8400 block of Creekside Lane in Darien was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Sunday at his home on charges of domestic battery and interference with the reporting of domestic battery. He has been arrested on domestic battery charges before. In the same incident, a 30-year-old woman who lives in the same house was arrested on a charge of violating an order of protection. Both were taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Retail theft
- A 19-year-old Park Forest man, a 19-year-old Park Forest woman and an 18-year-old Fishers, Indiana, woman were cited about 7:30 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on charges of retail theft. They were seen under-ringing items at the self-checkout counter. They were later stopped in a red Chevrolet on Fairview Avenue. They were released and given a date to appear in court.
