Man With Car In Darien Ditch Arrested: Cops
He was one of two DUI suspects in the last few days. They were released.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
DUIs
- A 51-year-old Willowbrook man was arrested shortly after midnight Oct. 5 on charges of DUI, improper turn at an intersection and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Police found the man's car in the ditch facing south along northbound Lemont Road, near Interstate 55. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 58-year-old woman from Glen Ellyn was arrested shortly before midnight Friday on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and improper lighting. An officer saw the woman drive over a curb in the 7900 block of Cass before returning to the roadway. The car had no taillights on. The woman was released and given a date to appear in court.

- A 27-year-old woman from Downers Grove was charged about 5 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., with retail theft. An employee saw the woman under-ringing items in the self-checkout aisle. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Domestic battery
- A 20-year-old man who lives at Darien's Extended Stay America hotel, 2345 Sokol Court, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Sunday on charges of domestic battery and criminal damage to property. The man was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

- Someone entered a bus between 4 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of 67th Street. Nothing appeared to be missing or damaged.
