Man Caught With Stolen Car In Darien: Police

DARIEN, IL — Darien Police arrested a man after the car he was driving was reported stolen. Police charged Dilys Vilmantas, 30, with unlawful possession of a stolen motor vehicle in connection with the Nov. 16 incident.

Police were alerted of the stolen car via Onstar and were dispatched to the 8300 block of Lemont Rd. The vehicle that had been reported stolen was found in a parking lot near the intersection of Lemont Road and 83rd Street, police say.

Vilmantas was taken into custody and sent to DuPage County Jail.
