Man Crashes Into Darien House While Fleeing Cop: Police

He was charged with aggravated DUI and taken to the county jail, authorities said.

DARIEN, IL – A Westmont man struck a house in a Darien neighborhood while he was fleeing from an officer on the Fourth of July, police said.

About 1 a.m., an officer saw Mark Flores, whose age was not released, speeding near Cass Avenue and Plainfield Road, police said.

The officer tried to stop Flores, but lost sight of him, police said.

Shortly after, Flores was seen crashing into the house at 9S115 Nantucket Drive, police said.

Flores was charged with aggravated DUI, fleeing from a police officer and speeding. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
