Man Refuses To Leave Darien Restaurant: Cops

He was charged with trespassing and resisting an officer, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:

Resisting officer

  • Jason Teffeteller, 47, of Jacksonville, Florida, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Taco Bell, 7419 Cass Ave., on charges of trespass to property and resisting a police officer. Police said Teffeteller refused to leave. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

  • David Chavez, 31, with no town of residence listed, was arrested about 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 2189 75th St., on DuPage County and Rockford warrants. Police said they were called after Chavez refused to show a receipt at Walmart. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Valdena Thomas, 47, of Willowbrook, was arrested about 10 p.m. March 6 on Cass Avenue at Interstate 55 on a Glendale Heights traffic warrant. Police said she was stopped for speeding 60 mph in a 40 mph zone. She was released and given a date to appear in court. She received warnings for traffic violations.
  • Tamika Ford, 39, of Chicago, was arrested March 7 on a Darien warrant charging forgery. The warrant was served at the Cook County Jail on Sacramento Avenue in Chicago.
