Mayor Kathleen Weaver Hosts Re-Election Campaign Fundraiser

The event takes place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at Chuck's Southern Comfort Café.

Darien Mayor Kathleen Moesle Weaver will host a fund-raising event to help support her re-election campaign for the April 7 municipal election. The event takes place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, at Chuck’s Southern Comfort Café, 8025 S. Cass Ave., Darien. Tickets are $40 a person and include a variety of hors d’oeuvres and an open bar. Raffles will also be featured during the evening.

Kathleen Moesle Weaver, mayor since 2005, has been serving on the Darien City Council since 1987. She has played a key role in guiding economic development within the city and looks forward to further expansion during her next term of office.

“I am proud of a long, accomplished service record in our very special city,” said Kathleen Weaver. “I seek another term to continue our course with great enthusiasm. There are many opportunities awaiting and I look forward to meeting the challenges that will carry us forward.”
