Darien Church Holds Train, Plane, Car Model Show
All aboard for some family-friendly fun at the St. John Mega Model Show & Swap Meet on January 19. Free admission for children under 12!
St. John Lutheran Church at 7214 South Cass Avenue in Darien will host an extensive Model Show and Swap Meet on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Plane, train, and automobile model hobbyists will find exhibits and merchandise galore.
There will be at least two operating model railroad layouts and over 60 vendor tables selling plastic model kits and model railroad-related items on two levels in a handicap accessible building. The family-friendly event will also offer food and raffle prizes.
Admission is $5.00 for adults (18 years and older) and $2.00 for youth (12 to 17 years old). Children under 12 and Scouts in uniform are FREE!
