Minor Injuries In Darien Fire: Cops

A street was closed while firefighters battled the fire, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Residents in a Darien house were able to get out during a fire, suffering only minor injuries, authorities said Tuesday.

Darien police tweeted information about the fire in the morning. It said Williams Street between 75th Street and Plainfield Road was closed as a result of the fire.

The street later reopened.
