Motor Vehicle Burglary and License Revoked: Darien Blotter

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Driving While License Revoked

• Joshua Lane, 40, of the 8400 block of Captons Lane, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. April 21 in the 900 block of North Frontage Road for driving while license revoked. Lane was processed and released with a court date of May 18 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

• An unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle parked on a driveway in the 7200 block of Summit sometime between 7 p.m. April 22 and 9 a.m. April 23. Miscellaneous items were missing for a total loss of $650. Stolen credit cards were also used at various locations.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

• A vehicle was scratched while parked in a driveway in the 7600 block of Brookhaven Avenue sometime between 7:30 p.m. April 22 and 7:30 a.m. April 23. The estimated value of damage is unknown.

Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property

• A phone was stolen after the victim left it on the counter at Shell Gas Station, 8226 Cass Ave., at 9:30 p.m. April 26. The estimated loss at this time is $500.
