Motorcyclist Injured In Willowbrook Crash: Cops

WILLOWBROOK, IL – An SUV and a motorcycle collided Sunday at a major intersection in Willowbrook, just outside Darien city limits, police said.

The crash happened about 9:30 a.m. at Route 83 and Plainfield Road, according to police.

The motorcycle rider was thrown off the cycle in the crash and suffered injuries, Lauren Kaspar, Willowbrook's deputy police chief, said in an email to Patch. The SUV driver was reported as having no injuries.

The DuPage County Metropolitan Emergency Response Team was requested to investigate the crash, Kaspar said. As a result, northbound Route 83 was closed for several hours Sunday, she said.

The condition of the motorcycle rider is unknown, Kaspar said.
