No License, Theft: Darien Blotter

Darien Police reports May 15-18.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

No Driver's License

  • William Miller, 44, Chicago, was arrested at 10:11 p.m. May 16 at Lemont and I-55, after a routine check of vehicle registration showed Miller had no valid license. He was arrested for no valid driver's license and given a court date of June 29 at Downers Grove Field Court.

Theft

  • A phone was reported stolen from a counter at 4:16 p.m. May 17 at Wal-Mart, 2189 75th St. The approximate loss is $485.
  • A wallet was stolen from a purse at 2:30 p.m. May 17 at Elite Smiles, 7531 Lemont Road. The total loss is $826.

Driving While License Suspended

  • Jeremy Kelly, 27, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 2:51 a.m. May 18 in the 1100 block of 75th Street after a vehicle was observed changing lanes without signaling. Kelly was arrested for driving while license suspended and failure to signal.
