Our Lady of Peace School Claims 4 Volleyball Championships

All championship teams were honored at this week's school board meeting.

Our Lady of Peace School celebrated the end of an extraordinary volleyball season this year with four of their teams claiming first place during the season and clinching their championship titles in playoffs.

The undefeated eighth grade boys A1 volleyball team defeated St. Petronille in a fierce two game battle to claim the DuPage Parochial League Volleyball Championship Title in the Large School Division. This is a repeat for this strong boys’ team who won their championship title last year.

Girls 7A with a stellar season record of 11 and 1 earned their championship title in a two set victory against Ss. Peter & Paul. Girls 7B with an undefeated season, clinched in two sets against All Saints. Girls 6A held on to their perfect season by defeating St. Raphael in three sets.
