Passports Stolen, Sprint Burglary: Darien Blotter
Darien Police reports through July 27.

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Driving While License Suspended
- Audrey Smith, 53, Scottsburg, Indiana, was arrested at 12:17 a.m. July 24 at Clarendon Hills and Plainfield roads for driving while license suspended, operating a vehicle with suspended registration, failure to secure child under 8 in a child restraint system and no valid insurance. Smith was processed and given a court date of Aug. 17 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
Burglary

- Unknown suspects shattered the glass front door of the Sprint store, 7517 Cass Ave., sometime between 1 and 4:50 a.m. July 25. 12 cell phones were taken, worth a value of $500.
Burglary from Motor Vehicle
- An unlocked vehicle was entered and four passports were stolen in the 1300 block of VonDrash Drive sometime between 10 a.m. July 25 and 3:40 a.m. July 26. The approximate loss is $1,000.
- A cell phone was taken out of an unlocked vehicle in the 8100 block of Oriole Drive sometime between 5:15 p.m. July 25 and 6:26 a.m. July 26. The approximate loss is $200.
