Downtown Development: What Would You Like to See?

A for the sale of the lot at 75th Street and Cass Avenue will be up for a City Council vote on Monday.

If the deal goes through, that leaves the city with two parcels of land in the 2.5-acre downtown business district, bordered on the south by Plainfield Road. 

The city has considered a range of businesses with the goal of creating a destination that mixes restaurants, stores and services.

What would you like to see go into the plaza? A specialty grocery store? Somewhere to buy jeans? A gathering place to grab a snack with friends on Friday nights?
