Phone Stolen From Person At Darien Business: Cops
In another case, a woman was charged with presenting a false identification, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Theft
- A phone was removed from a person between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Feb. 8 at Darien Community Bank, 7380 Kingery Highway. The loss was estimated at $200. Patch has filed a public records request for the full police report.
False ID

- A 19-year-old West Chicago woman was cited about 6 p.m. Saturday at Home Run Inn, 7521 75th St., on a charge of presenting a false identification. The woman was inside a car. She had an alcohol container that was confiscated for destruction. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Damage
- A driver struck a mailbox overnight Saturday in front of a house in the 8700 block of Lake Ridge Drive. The crime was labeled a hit-and-run. The loss was estimated at $1,750.
