Porch Piracy, Driving Issues: Darien Police

Six packages are stolen from a porch in Darien neighborhood, report says.

DARIEN, IL — Darien police released their latest blotter Thurday. Here is information from the reports:

  • Six packages delivered to a house in the 7500 block of Country Lane were stolen between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday. They were removed by a man, but no description was given. The items were valued at $176.
  • Naomi Guerrero, 24, of Chicago, was cited about 7 p.m. July 15 in the 8200 block of Cass Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license, speeding and child restraint violation. She was clocked speeding 60 mph in a 40 mph zone. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Michael Cantalupo, 37, of Willowbrook, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Friday on Cass Avenue near Interstate 55 on a DuPage County warrant charging failure to appear. He was clocked speeding 57 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Cesar Gomez, 26, of Burbank, was cited at 12:30 a.m. Saturday near Manning and Plainfield roads on charges of driving with a suspended license, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Brayan Hernandez, 19, of Westmont, was cited Sunday in the 7200 block of Cass Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. He was clocked speeding 56 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
