Potty Prank Draws Darien Cop's Attention

A fleeing youth received a citation for the stunt earlier this week.

DARIEN, IL – A Darien officer earlier this week saw a car stopped in the 7200 block of Clarendon Hills Road and wondered what was happening, police said.

The officer saw a youth running from a portable toilet to the stopped car. Then, the officer witnessed a loud bang and flash from the toilet, police said.

The officer activated his lights and spoke with the youth.

The youth was cited on a charge of fleeing from a police officer. The incident was about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
