Purse Stolen From Employee At Our Lady Of Peace Church

DARIEN, IL - Police in Darien are investigating a theft reported earlier this week at the Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. An employee at the church told officers that she left her purse behind the church lobby during the afternoon Tuesday while she was checking out equipment and that when she returned, she was not able to find the purse.

The employee said the purse was left in the lobby around 2 p.m., and police responded after they were called at 2:56 p.m.

It wasn't immediately known how much the woman lost in the theft.
