MOCK NEWBERY AWARDS- $765.76
    The purpose of the "Mock Newberry" is to introduce and engage students with literature that is recently published and projected to be award winning fiction. After reading the newest releases for middle school readers, students vote which title should be given ALSC Newberry Aware.

BUILDING LITERACY FOR A LIFETIME- $1000
    The purpose of this project is to enhance the 3rd grade classroom libraries with updated and motivating books from Usborne. These books will increase vocabulary, comprehension and content knowledge in many areas. They will fulfill the new common core standards.
