Reckless Driving, DUI, Retail Theft: Darien Arrests

The following items were taken from the Darien police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

March 7

• Stefanie Calderone, 30, of the 7800 block of Brompton Drive, was arrested at 1:42 a.m. in the 1200 block of Plainfield Road for DUI-drugs, driving in wrong lane, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without headlights on. Calderone was processed and released with a court date of April 17 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
• Ignacio Diaz, 54, of Romeoville, was arrested at 7:49 a.m. in the 2500 block of Oldfield Road for no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. Diaz was processed and released with a court date of April 5 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.

March 8

• Jeremy Bennett, 34, of Chicago, was arrested at 1:11 p.m. on Lemont Road for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper turn. Bennett was processed and released with a court date of April 19 at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
• Shareen George, 26, of Burr Ridge, was arrested at 12:24 p.m. at Walmart, 2189 75th St., for retail theft. George was arrested for retail theft and will be advised of a court date by mail at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
• An unknown person shot BB's into the front window of a home in the 6700 block of Tennessee Avenue at 7:25 p.m. Cost of damage is unknown at this time.
• A car window was broken by an unknown projectile in the 6900 block of Brookbank Road for 8:48 p.m. Cost of damage is unknown at this time.

March 9

• Kendall Guyton, 49, of the 300 block of North Broadway, was arrested at 8:03 p.m. in the 2100 block of 75th Street for reckless driving and fleeing and eluding a police officer. Guyton was processed, released and advised court date would be mailed to him.

March 11

• Tijuana Baker, 45, of Gary, Indiana, was arrested at 1:09 a.m. in the 6800 block of Cass Avenue for driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no headlights. Baker will be advised by mail of court date at Downers Grove Traffic Court.
