Registration Open for Daisy Days Idol Singing Competition

Registration is open for Daisy Days Idol, a singing event open to first through eighth grade students who reside in Clarendon Hills, Hinsdale, Westmont, Willowbrook, Oak Brook, Burr Ridge, Downers Grove, Western Springs and Darien.

Daisy Days Idol, presented by Clarendon Hills Music Academy, will take place at 1 p.m. June 13 at during the Clarendon Hills Daisy Days Festival.

To register, competitors need to fill out an online registration page and create a simple 30-second audition video or audio mp3 file. The deadline to register is June 11 at 11:59 p.m.

• Online Registration for Participants Grades 6th – 8th

All registration proceeds go directly to District 181 Foundation.

Judges will select finalists to perform live at the Clarendon Hills Daisy Days.

“One of the main things we are looking at in the virtual audition phase is the ability to sing in pitch and stay in sync with an instrumental track,” the competition website states.
